I ended up having a ton of fun creating this design and got quite carried away with it. The original sugar skull mandala ended up being so intricate that I was worried that it would be too detailed for coloring.
Sugar Skulls is an intricate printable coloring page for you to print and color however you like. This is the intricate version.
I got feedback from several colorists who assured me they would enjoy coloring it. But for those who want something simpler, I also created a second version with one large skull.

About the Sugar Skulls Design
Coloring Difficulty: Intricate and Simple
This sugar skulls coloring design comes in two variations. The first is an intricate sugar skulls mandala, with six sugar skulls rotating around a floral bud center decoration and offset with hearts, scrolls, and flower blossoms. The sugar skulls are decorated with elaborate scrolls, flower designs, and a cross. A scroll border encloses the sugar skull mandala.

For the simple version, one large candy skull is showcased in front of a pattern fill of hearts and scrolls, surrounded by a scroll border with flower blossom elements filling the corners. Sugar Skulls are used in Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations, which is a Mexican holiday tradition honoring loved ones who are deceased.
