Originally titled “Scrollwork Cross” and designed for Easter, this design was updated to add the word “REDEEMED” for my book OrnaMENTALs Feel Good Words. Both versions plus a greeting card size are included in this digital download.

Redeemed Scrollwork Cross Coloring Page Description
A decorative cross of hearts, circles, and scrolls is outlined and offset with a drop shadow in the center of this design. A second repeating pattern of scrollwork and hearts fills the background of the page. The scrollwork cross design was inspired by a couple of metal crosses my sister has on her wall. I originally drew two of them, and only ended up using one of them in my Splendid Symmetry book. The other version has just been hanging out on my hard drive, so with Easter coming up, I thought I would make something new with it. Updated! This download now includes the “Redeemed” version of this design that is included in OrnaMENTALs™ Feel Good Words.

Comment by Mela Crane about this design: “…the one with crucifix actually was a strange coincidence. I had colored it before using different colors and when I was done I stuck it on the wall. I was sitting at my desk when suddenly I saw a figure on the cross. Whether you did this intentionally or not I do not know. But every time I showed someone the picture they said they didn’t know what I was talking about so I recolored it and this is the result. Now every one keeps saying, ‘wow I never noticed that.'” 2016/06/04 at 8:13 am
