Thanks to all who participated in the May Celebration Sale and Giveaway! You’ve helped make my birthday month extra special, and I especially enjoyed seeing all your coloring of the “A Virtuous Woman” page that was offered free during May. I am happy to announce that Lori Petkovic was our randomly chosen winner and the tote bag is currently on its way to her as I type this. Check out Lori’s beautiful coloring below. I just love the color scheme of pink, lavender, coral-red, and green.

I wanted to also share with you some words from Lori about what coloring has done for her.
I am coloring the Father’s Day card for my dad this year from your collection and this means the world to me to have a tote bag like that card as this will be my dad’s last Father’s Day…he has cancer that has spread and only has about 6 months. He is my most avid support of my coloring!! He thinks I’m the best colorist he has seen!! I started coloring to recovery from alcoholism and have been alcohol free for 485 days and am now smoke free for 128 days!! He has been my rock and this will be a tribute to him that will last forever!! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!

I am so happy to have found something that literally saved my life!! I was so sick before I quit alcohol and if I can show just one person that coloring is therapy and can help with any addiction that would be wonderful!
Lori deserves huge congratulations for so much more than winning a tote bag. I am so impressed with her accomplishment of getting alcohol and smoke free! Let’s keep Lori, her Dad, and her family in prayer as they go through this trial of cancer. It was so theraputic for me to color this beautiful piece of art Sue drew for all of us, I lost my mom in 2007 to colon cancer and until this year Mother’s day was really not a joyful day for me. Even tho I am a mother and grandmother. But this piece just spoke to my deepest part of my heart and it was as if I was coming out of a long funk!! Thank you Sue from the bottom of my heart for your beautiful art and loving kindness after going thru a tramactic time so recently yourself.
