6 New Autumn Color Palettes to Inspire You
Color Schemes Set 7: An Eye Toward Autumn
I can never seem to do these color schemes as often as I’d like so I will start doing collections of six color palettes instead of four when I post new ones. For this set, I’ve got an eye toward autumn. You can never go wrong when you look to nature for color inspiration. God is the original artist, after all. My favorite colors are in the bright red, orange, pink purple side of the color wheel, but I do try to push myself away from just going with my favorite color combinations for these color palette sets. I’ve even included some gray this time around! Check out the new color sets below, or see the gallery of all color schemes, then be inspired, go forth and create!
An Eye Toward Autumn Color Inspiration
Signs of Autumn
An autumn-inspired color palette collection would not be complete without the green leaves transitioning into golden yellows, reds, and browns when the weather starts to turn crisp. Something I rarely get to experience living in Florida.
Bellflower Blues
Don’t be blue! These vibrant blue bellflowers in a field of brown and tan are sure to cheer you.
Lady of the Tulips
Red is the perfect choice for a pop of unexpected color, don’t you think? Here the red of the ladybug contrasts with the vivid yellow tulips on a background of aqua and turquoise.
Muted Brilliance
I don’t know if these are butterflies or moths, real or digitally manipulated…. but either way I like it! They look so soft I want to pet them. Lavendar, pale pink, and muted deep burgundy with splashes of orange against a tan background.
Songbird Ablaze
According to Pixabay, this is a Japanese type of robin. I love the brilliant yellow-orange alongside the neutral browns and cool grays. This bird has something to sing about!
Bee Dazzling
When I saw this iridescent bee, I was dazzled. This stunning creature is armored in metallic blues and greens with touches of shimmering purple. Set against gray and jet black these colors will start a buzz for sure.

I only see Autumn in pictures as Queensland is like Florida.
