Four Color Schemes to Inspire You
Color Schemes Set 3: Inspired by Janet Crosby
This month’s color inspiration comes from the lens of Janet Crosby, who captures the breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Be sure to check out the links where you can purchase her nature photography.
Colors of the Pacific Northwest – Photography by Janet Crosby
Misty Lettuce
I love the contrast of cool blue and pale minty green with the pink and lavender of this frosty lettuce.

Ocean
I’ll never tire of the colors of the beach and the ocean. Here we have a dusky color combination of pink sky against the muted blue and green of the sea-foam waves, alongside earthy sun-drenched orange-brown rock, and dark sand, wet from the receding wave.

Morning Mist
This close-up of a Clematis flower provides a lovely color palette of deep violet-red against pale cream in the flower centers, spreading out into dew-drenched lavender and pale blue petals.

Romanesco Broccoli
The spiraling spiky clusters of this Romansco broccoli look like something out of an alien landscape. It gives us an analogous color scheme of green tones, pale chartreuse, and yellow-green tinged creamy neutrals.
